❀ Paragons!?

　　AGHH OMG!! REALLY AWESOME DEVELOPMENTS LATELY GRR GRR GRR

　　Ok so! hi! hello! been a little bit. First things first. Behold!!! My beautiful creation !!! I've fleshed out what that "base substance" that cryptids come from happens to be. It is called corpus and is what unites them as a species. They're like shapeshifters but not quite, to put it one way! True cryptids have also been re-named to Paragons, since earth-native cryptids were named by humanity, and paragons are a different rodeo almost entirely.

　　I don't know exactly where corpus comes from, but the faint image I've had in my mind is that paragons emerge from it. I'll figure it out eventually, but that's where I'm at for the moment. Anyway, here's some specifics on it!

minor ligature

• creates solidified structure for the body and determines how it appears. Basic structural components, essentially, to give form to the plasma.
• When unfurled, they float in the plasma freeform.
• Look like colorful little crystals up close and have an anti-gravity quality to them when separated from the plasma.

major ligature

• dictates how the minor ligatures form and stores information on the paragon itself, that being its “breed” and what limits it does or does not have.
• can be altered by some means to create different results, though this is mostly restricted to the physical appearance.
• acts somewhat as the “brain”. It is the root of all paragons; essential to them being alive and functioning.

　　Otherwise, I've got some more minor developments going; the resort no longer has a therapy function; bringing Tinkerbell back into the main story; Clover and Mel being siblings, to name a few. Fun stuff fun stuff! I'm excited as always for what might come next :-)
